Singapore has some really draconian laws. Chewing gum is illegal, as is failing to flush a public toilet, and littering is heavily punished. I’ll tell you what though: it’s the cleanest place I have ever been.
Anyway, back to the wifi: Very unfair. The owner should have taken responsibility for *his* network and secured it. All the consumer-grade routers I’ve seen have very clear instructions that tell you to.
