A Short Story
I was going on holiday on the saturday, so friday morning, I get in the girlfriends car and drive to the garage to check the tyres etc. About to leave the garage, turn the key and “CLICK” , the battery is DEAD……
Time to call the AA. it is now 11:10 and the call taker said someone would be with us by 12:00, not too bad i guess. At 11:15 I get an SMS from the AA saying the van will be with us by 11:30, and at 11:25 he arrives, WOW
He diagosed that a CELL in the battery had failed open circuit and jump started the car from his portable booster pack, and followed us the 0.5 miles to the nearby main dealer, who replaced the battery under warranty !!
Horray for the AA !!!!!!!
