Just when I thought my friday could not get any worse??I get the following Email from my boss
“It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Bogdan Chirila was tragically killed in a car accident yesterday.
Bogdan joined??us??in March last year and quickly established himself as a key member in the Platform Operations unit. His dedication to the team and his ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues was exceptional. He was constantly improving his abilities and willing to be involved. Bogdan was a very likeable person with a fantastic personality and we will miss him very much.”
I hired Bogdan in March 2006, and this is the first time someone I work with has died.????
Bogdan you will be missed !

Bogdan was a dear friend of mine, I have known him for about 15 years. He was a person that had exceptional qualities in my eyes and I will sorely miss him! I can’t believe he is gone, it seems that those who are marvelously talented and gifted are not to remain among us for long. I will never forget you Bogdan and I am proud that you counted me as one of your friends! I will be there for your son Gaby should he need a friend and support in this world.

I worked with Bogdan and can confirm that he is badly missed not just as a colleage but as friend. The man had so much knowledge and offered help both in work and as a pal.
It still hasnt sunk in that he wont be coming back.
