Been to the pool hall again and was happily potting spots and stripes (Remember them)
when i noticed the balls on the near by snooker table had their points value marked on them
Now all the player has to do is add them up !!!!!

Most meeting agendas have a bit on comfort , health and saftey,
Fire exits are here , here and here, toilets are there, and the coffee machine take tokens type stuff
Same in a hotel rooms etc
Well, this came as a bit of a shock, excuse the PUN !
When the hotel and meeting included a EARTHQUAKE briefing !!!!!!!!
Don’t exit the building unless told to do so !
Dont use the lifts (well duh !)
Dont use the stairs until tol they are safe (no mention of a parachute though!!!)
Where possible get in a corner of a room, under table !
lets hope we dont have to put this into practice
Well, day two is on its way out
Yesterday was fun, NOT, 2.5 hours to clear immigration, although non of us got the rubber glove treatment !
An hour to sort a hire car, one of my collegues then dropped his departure card !
so FOUR+ hour from touchdown to bed
The VOIP to the UK seems to be working well, spent loads of time on the phone to the family back in blighty, for the princely sum of 1.5p/min…. none of the quid a minute cell mobile phone roaming crap
Using a Bluetooth headset on my laptop so much better than a USB handset !!!
On the 2nd hotel, first one had a few issues, well it is all relative realy,
If staying in the middle of a business park ,which is the size of a small city, with almost no local facilities while listening to the bloke upstair take his 2nd dump in an hour, is acceptable then the 1st hotel we stayed at would be just fine
the 7-8 hour time differance is causing a few issues with the lady wife, who has to get up an 0630 GMT to speak to me (my bed time)
Had Dinner in a local POOL hall this evening which was ODD, sold stella artois, played loud, crap pop music could have been in the UK, oh hang on, the tables were clean and undamaged, perhaps not the UK!!!
Well here it is, Day 1, and??I am of to work with a difference,
I am off to Redmond, yes, Redmond , MICROSOFT country
