While on my way home from a fabulous (no kids) weekend in Brighton,????I managed to collect a fairly serious chip in my windscreen, “BOLLOCKS” was one of the politer words the exited the front of my face !

So quick call to autoglass should sort this out, (Yeh right what fucking planet am I on)
1. Cant Inspect for a repair for 3 days !!
2. 2006 CRV windscreens are dealer only (and prolly 2 week lead time) and they??would not order one until they inspect the damage
3. It has been raining, so the chip is quite happily destroying my wiper??blades
4.??Get in the Car this afternoon, to find the Chip has developed into a lovely??three point star of crazy paving

well at least the cracks means it cant be repaired, so not need for them to inspect it !!!
BUT??There is a ??60 excess on new screens,??Bugger, that is??23.5 pints of stella !

just got trixbox working on VMServer??ontop of my windows 2K3 Server !!!

Soooo Easy it was unreal, shame about lack of hardware support

Next oe will be Linux VMserver, with trixbox and my firewall in sep VMs

Just when I thought my friday could not get any worse??I get the following Email from my boss

“It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Bogdan Chirila was tragically killed in a car accident yesterday.

His dedication to the team and his ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues was exceptional. He was constantly improving his abilities and willing to be involved. Bogdan was a very likeable person with a fantastic personality and we will miss him very much.”

I hired Bogdan in March 2006, and this is the first time someone I work with has died.????
Bogdan you will be missed !

My attitude to cameras has always been if yoiu are daft enough to speed in the first place, then you deserve a ticket. Most of the time there is no real need to speed. I may have to adjust that !

However in this case I only have my own stupidity to blame
On the A605, in northhampton, I saw the Camera van, looked at the road, and all the other cars, which were all doing 50 MPH , so continued to do 50 MPH myself,

BIG MISTAKE, it was a 40 Zone !!!

Well Christmas is nearly here, and as per usual has been preceeded by the usual run of Christmas parties,
we won’t talk about my wifes works bash at worcester rugby club, lets just say I did not sober up until well into the afternoon the next day
My works do,??I had to drive home so stayed sober. We had a meal and a night out at the De Vere Belfry in Sutton Coalfield. The Hotel complex is bigger than some small towns, and has its own night club.
But like any small town nightclub it had the crap sound system, stciky floors and was full of old men (yes i mean older than me and possibly my dad) and slappers. The main source of amusement came from one of my work collegues who got completely bladdered, The worrying issue was i would normally be right there with him

For the first time in about 39 years, I think??I have done every thing??I need to for Christmas, presents sorted etc etc .
Planning a quiet Christmas at home, but i bet some bastard will spoil it,
